SEPTEMBER – GUARDIAN OF FIND THE PATTERN

Motto: Find the Pattern

September is the ninth Guardian of the year.

In Tolvoria, she watches over the world as summer begins to give way to autumn. August has brought the growing world to maturity, and now the first signs of a new season are beginning to appear.

September gathers the patterns hidden throughout the year. But her most important task is bringing order to the changing world — guiding seeds to their resting places, tracing the first signs of autumn across the land and preparing nature for the transformation ahead.

She knows that even when everything seems to be changing, there is a pattern waiting to be found.

When September’s work is complete, the pattern she has revealed can be passed through The Heart of the Year, preparing the year for its great autumn transformation.

KEEPER OF THE TURNING PATTERN

Every year, September reveals Tolvoria’s first signs of autumn. In seeds, leaves and shifting light, she brings together the patterns that show the world where the year is heading next.

“Look closely enough, and every change becomes part of something greater.”

September is one of the Twelve Guardians of Tolvoria, each responsible for something the next Guardian needs.
