OCTOBER – GUARDIAN OF CHANGE IS MAGIC

Motto: Change Is Magic

October is the tenth Guardian of the year.

In Tolvoria, she watches over the world as autumn reaches its great transformation. September has revealed the patterns of the changing season, and now the world is ready to let those changes unfold.

October creates the great turning of autumn. But her most important task is guiding the living world through transformation — changing green leaves into glowing shades of gold, amber and red, and preparing trees and plants to release what they no longer need.

She knows that change is not the end of something beautiful — it can be the beginning of something new.

When October’s work is complete, what she has transformed can be passed through The Heart of the Year, preparing the world for the quiet that will follow.

KEEPER OF THE AUTUMN COLOURS

Every year, October carries Tolvoria’s autumn colours across the world. From the first golden leaf, the transformation spreads until forests and fields are filled with the colours of the changing season.

“Sometimes the most beautiful magic begins with change.”

October is one of the Twelve Guardians of Tolvoria, each responsible for something the next Guardian needs.
