DECEMBER – GUARDIAN OF CARRY THE LIGHT FORWARD

Motto: Carry the Light Forward

December is the twelfth Guardian of the year.

In Tolvoria, she watches over the world as the year reaches its end. November has brought the deep stillness, and now December gathers what the year leaves behind — its memories, its lessons and the moments worth carrying forward.

December gathers the final light of the year. But her most important task is bringing that light to The Heart of the Year, where everything the twelve Guardians have created comes together before the year is allowed to rest.

She knows that an ending does not have to leave the world in darkness. Something can always be carried forward.

When December’s work is complete, she passes the final light through The Heart of the Year to January, allowing the old year to end and a new one to begin.

KEEPER OF THE LAST LIGHT

Every year, the star December carries becomes brighter as the final night approaches. It holds the last light of the year — and when the time comes, December gives that light to January so the cycle of Tolvoria can begin once more.

“Every ending carries the light of a new beginning.”

December is one of the Twelve Guardians of Tolvoria, each responsible for something the next Guardian needs.
