APRIL – GUARDIAN OF FIND COLOUR IN THE GRAY

Motto: Find Colour in the Gray

April is the fourth Guardian of the year.

In Tolvoria, she watches over the newly awakened world as it reaches towards spring. March has stirred the sleeping life beneath the earth, but before the world can bloom, it needs water — and the first colours of the year are waiting to appear.

April creates the first gentle rain of spring. But her most important task begins when the raindrops reach the earth: helping buds to open, washing away winter’s gray and bringing colour back to the growing world.

She knows that even the grayest skies can carry something beautiful.

When April’s work is complete, what she has watered can be passed through The Heart of the Year, bringing the year one step closer to growth.

KEEPER OF THE FIRST RAIN

Every year, April creates Tolvoria’s first spring raindrop. From it, rain falls across the awakening world, giving new life the water it needs and helping the first colours of spring appear.

“Sometimes the rain is where the colour begins.”

April is one of the Twelve Guardians of Tolvoria, each responsible for something the next Guardian needs.
