MARCH – GUARDIAN OF THE AWAKENING OF SPRING

Motto: The Awakening of Spring

March is the third Guardian of the year.

In Tolvoria, he listens to the earth for the moment when sleeping life is finally ready to stir. Beneath the ground, the seeds and roots protected through winter are waiting — prepared by February for the awakening to begin.

March sends the first awakening force through the earth. But his most important task begins below the surface: calling sleeping life back into motion so roots can stir, seeds can open and the first shoots can begin their journey towards the light.

He knows that every beginning starts with something stirring where no one can see it.

When March’s work is complete, what he has awakened can be passed through The Heart of the Year, bringing the year one step closer to colour.

KEEPER OF THE FIRST AWAKENING

Every year, March sends Tolvoria’s first awakening through the earth. From it, roots begin to stir, seeds open and the sleeping world starts to rise towards spring.

“Every spring begins with something stirring beneath the earth.”

March is one of the Twelve Guardians of Tolvoria, each responsible for something the next Guardian needs.
