JANUARY – GUARDIAN OF HOPE FOR NEW BEGINNINGS

Motto: Hope for new beginnings

January is the first Guardian of the year.

In Tolvoria, she watches over the world while winter holds it still. Beneath the snow, seeds and roots are waiting — carrying the promise of everything the year may become.

January creates the first frost and shapes the first snowflakes of the new year. But her most important task is hidden beneath the surface: protecting the new life that is not yet ready to wake.

She knows that  even in the deepest winter, a new beginning can already be growing.

When January’s work is complete, what she has protected can be passed through The Heart of the Year, bringing the year one step closer to awakening.

KEEPER OF THE FIRST SNOW

Every year, January creates Tolvoria’s first snowflake. From it, winter spreads across the sleeping world, keeping what waits beneath safe until its time comes.

“Beneath the snow, the year has already begun.”

January is one of the Twelve Guardians of Tolvoria, each responsible for something the next Guardian needs.
